KARE ONLIVE

KARE OnLIVE is an interactive news and entertainment program created with the help of viewers online and those watching on television. Produced by KARE 11 in Minneapolis, and parent company Gannett, OnLive is the most complete convergence of media by the news leader to date.

KARE 11's own Diana Pierce and Pat Evans host the interactive conversation three different ways: internet, television and mobile. Viewer’s ideas, comments, photographs, videos and podcasts are used to help create the content and community of the show. It is a user driven, customer centric and highly innovative use of available technology. Kudos to KARE 11 for setting a standard for other local broadcasters to follow.
